Troy Story
Troy @troyslackink started his tattooing journey in 2008 in Adelaide, South Australia. A journey leading to him become one of the most-decorated and highly regarded practitioners of the craft. After years of using a trusted tattoo balm that was discontinued, the search for a replacement came up short. During the 2020 lockdowns, the idea took shape: create a better balm, inspired by the original, with a focus on quality ingredients and real studio performance.

Real Tattooers, really tattooing
Happy Healing wasn't created in a boardroom or by some pharmaceutical industry plant. It was developed and tested in studio with working tattooers like Jayden Pengilly @jayden.tattoo and Adam Slack @stampede_ink who gave feedback through multiple rounds of prototyping. When the consistency, performance and ingredient profile felt right, we partnered with a lab to refine the final product.

Most products are made as a glide or aftercare. Happy Healing was developed for the complete tattooing process. Before, During and After. The smooth, melt-on-contact texture allows for comfortable application and does not clog your needles like so many others do, while the natural ingredients help keep skin soothed, moisturised, and hydrated.
